This is the official Praia D'el Rey resort website and it contains lots of information about everything that is available on the resort. It is a great resource to see all of the activities available at Praia D'el Rey.

One of our favourite places to visit is the nearby vineyard at Quinta de Loridos, where we often buy our supplies of locally produced wines.
We also usually take a look at the adjacent Buddha Eden gardens, which are an amazing site in the Portuguese countryside.
For those wishing to play golf whilst on holiday, there are quite a few golf courses along the Silver Coast, in addition to the on-site Praia D'el Rey course.
There is an excellent Go-Karting track at Bombarral, about 25 minutes drive away. There is also a windsurfing schoolon the Obidos lagoon, about 15 minutes drive away.
There is much to see on a visit to Lisbon, about 1 hour away, but one of our favourite activities, is to hire a Segway and tour around the pedestrian part of the old city.
From the apartment terrace, you can often see the Berlengas Islands, about 12 km offshore, and can they can be visited during the summer months by boat from Peniche.
We also love to visit two local restaurants each time we are at Praia d'el Rey - they are the Gauchao de Picanha and the new Rio Cortico at Obidos Lagoon|.
